Native Treasure – My nine year old and I decided to read
this book. Horses are always fascinating, regal animals. This book treasures the Appaloosa – a
wonderful breed of horse.

My nine year old enjoyed looking at the pictures and seeing
how horses take care of their kids, how they play and go about their day. The
words themselves – he did not pay attention to too much. But he is going to
read them soon

As for me, I liked the concept of the book, enjoyed the
photos – especially the Walmart bag ones, loved the sayings inserted everywhere
– the ones from horse lovers were the ones I most enjoyed. The photos showed a
wonderful glimpse into the lives of these native treasures. I did feel
something was missing in the book over all – a little more about the horses
themselves would have helped a lot and some of the photos themselves, while showing the horses in a wonderful light, were a little dull and could have used help from photoshop if not from the camera itself.

P is for Pinterest! – This goes towards ABC Wednesday – letter P and getting back to memes after a long blogging break..
I discovered and joined the world of ‘pinteresters’ a couple of months ago. Very soon, I realized that pinning and browsing through pins is very addicting and also entertaining as well as educating! While I took a blogging break, I managed to keep pinning and be a part of the e-world.. I know I am going to keep pinning.. and discovering loads of fun stuff through pinterest,, So thank you Pinterest..
I feel I need to know more about Pinterest!
Nice pony!
Pining is problematic for me too.
