people and the joy of reading are feted for a full week with author and
illustrator appearances, storytelling, parties, and other book-related events
at schools, libraries, bookstores, museums, and homes from coast to coast!

  1. My favorite children's book is Go, Dog, Go!

    We loved reading it with our kids and asking, "Do you like my hat?" The kids would crack up as they replied, "No, I do not like your party hat." At the end, we'd squeal together as we said, "Yes…."

  2. Oh , I love children's books! My Girl and I just discovered the Toys Go Out grouping…love! The Velveteen Rabbit is a fave. So many! I love this post as well, thank you – checking out the links and also some of those books! Nice to meet you!(from dVerse- I am right after you in links! )

  39. Once upon a time, the one book that I had to get that was on Reading Rainbow was from my favorite episode – Miss Nelson is Back. So, I would say that one! 🙂
