2014 has now gone past and I had made resolutions that I thought were ones I could keep, ones that were doable (and I am pretty sure they were) but I failed miserably in keeping them.
So for this year, should I try the resolution-way again, not sure of that. One week has gone by without me coming up with a list so I plan to let it go (and now I am singing the song in my mind!) and see how I do without resolutions.
I chanced upon a post titled ‘20 Ways to be Just Another Mediocre Blogger Nobody Gives a Crap About‘ and found I can call myself, like a commenter on this post said, an expert in mediocrity – this is a great read by the way and I am surely going to find myself back at Jon’s blog to read more. And reading this post was timely- just when I thought I should maybe give it up. So here I am, back to give it another go – with book reviews, recipes, trips and tips, toy and game reviews, and other topics I have covered (or not covered) before sans the reading challenges this time(?).
Reading is definitely one of my top passions and from what I have accomplished in my reading goals over the last few months – a lot, I know that if I can read as many books as I have, if I prioritize consistently some of that reading time to devote to writing (and the key words are prioritize consistently), I will have blogged more at the end of this year than the previous one!
